What are we learning this week?

Reading-
Students are reviewing different genres of text to prepare for the SOL tests. Students are learning test taking strategies such as highlighting and reviewing text features.
Our shared reading text this week is a Civil War Timeline

Math-
Students are learning U.S. Customary units to measure length, weight, and liquid capacity.
Wednesday- U.S. Customary quiz

Science-
Students are still learning about living systems and animal adaptations

VA Studies-
Students are finishing their Reconstruction Unit and presenting their Colonial Fair projects.
Friday-Reconstruction Test
